It’s the tale of two young, bold lovers – the Hindu girl Kanchanamala and Muslim boy, Moideen. Despite the predictability, R S Vimal’s debut movie keeps you glued to your seat as its protagonists belittle the distances between them and that’s what makes it a winner. We see the couple living, fighting society and retaining their patience and waiting. The audience know where the story is heading just as the film unfolds its plot.
